A ’repeated refrain of a repeated refrain’, Blayed, Curcio and Riley present a body of experimental works that materialise the notion of repetitious returning. Referencing handcraft traditions, architectural systems and industrial production, their affective ceramics and sculptures consider meaning-making as a sedimented and embodied act of (re)production. 

 

Dictated by the parameters of their individual materials, and informed by the limitations of the Puzzle Gallery space, the works play with process as a loose spiral - a mobius strip of making.
